Resources to Navigate Your Career in Turbulent Times

The team at Teal and I have spent the last 5 months thinking and designing services to help people build fulfilling careers. We did that in a context where unemployment was at an all time low. Needless to say our strategy needs to change a bit… But we can’t take another 5 months to do it…

So today we’re going to share much of the content and tactics we’ve learned and developed over the last 5 months with everyone that needs them. Here is what that includes:

• Search Party Slack Group — This was born out of the WeWork layoffs in late 2019. This is a tight group that has been through struggle and is eager to help. The Teal team is going to take a much more active role in helping people navigate the tough times.

• Career Navigator — Many of the tips and tools we’ve developed for job searching and career growth will be made available for free to anyone that needs them.

We’ve spent the last 2 weeks watching and trying to figure out how we could help the most people with little certainty of how this would all land. We realized that sharing knowledge & community will help people now and for the long term, which was a key criteria for any action we took.

We hope people find this helpful in this time of need and are excited to keep helping people build fulfilling careers. More to come!
